In 2003, I started my first job reselling for a CRM software company – sales and marketing automation, and what I think would most resemble light-Excel quality analytics. Since the I’ve either been selling marketing tech, or marketing-adjacent tech pretty consistently, and the value for companies is tremendous when properly utilized.

Marketing automation refers to the use of software and technology to automate and streamline marketing tasks and processes. Some key benefits of marketing automation include:
